Built to withstand a crash.
The chances of your dog getting crunched in a crash are slim. Bumping into the dash board in a sudden stop, pretty good. More likely your k9 kid, unrestrained in a car, will get into your hair, drive you to distraction, and fall off the seat onto the car floor. Remember when we didn’t have to wear seat belts and kids didn’t need special car seats. Laws changed all that. And right now do-good dog lovers are working to get restraining laws passed for your precious k9 kids in cars.
Enter the K9 CarFence.
Designed and built with the objective to pass an independent crash safety test. We use high quality, tough but gentle materials; extra strong with multiple stitching. Plus, we added the requirement that unlike booster seats, K9 CF must be roomy, comfortable, and safely contain k9 kids without constricting them.
It was important that our k9 kids enjoy the ride and ride stress free and easy. So we used soft, strong, see-view safety netting. Strong enough to stop a 45 lb dog at 30 mph (which is 23 Gs), and land softly and safely.
Two tests, two years apart, at great expense, and K9 CarFence passed a severe frontal crash test meeting the standards set by Pet Groups lobbing Congress for dog containment laws nationwide.
For the past several years, dogs and puppies of all breeds and sizes across the US, Canada, and Japan successfully use and enjoy the K9 CarFence.
